The Tortoise shell no1, 2 and 4 are photographs of a tortoise shell found on a friend’s family farm, in the Limpopo area of South Africa. This shell is white bleached from the harsh African sun. It is a found object. The fine detail of the shell’s segments was almost lost as it needed some mending to keep it in tact. It is beautifully delicate. The Artworks are replicas of original Artworks printed digital onto canvas. It is a beautiful focus for any interior space. Smaller canvas print sizes don’t need to be mounted on the walls, as the width of the frame is ideal to stand free on its own.
